I’m a class-of-2027 undergraduate (majoring in automation), currently focused on agent runtimes / agent harnesses, AI backends and cross-platform application engineering.
What I focus on
- Agent runtimes & harnesses — concurrent tool execution, timeout and cancellation propagation, child process group and pipe cleanup, session events and plugin interception
- Linux system mechanism experiments — process groups and signals, pipes and file descriptors, cgroup v2, namespaces, seccomp
- Cross-platform local-first applications — Windows / Android app development and local retrieval (SQLite FTS5 + embeddings) with Tauri 2, React, TypeScript and Rust
How I work
- Find root causes from real data and reproductions: first analyse real agent session logs or write a minimal failure reproduction script, read the source to confirm where a mechanism’s boundaries are, then verify with before / after data and automated tests.
- Human–AI collaboration with clear roles: in day-to-day development I work closely with coding agents — I own problem discovery, metric design, semantics and trade-off decisions, test design and acceptance; the coding agent does most of the implementation. Acceptance matrices, combined fault injection and mutation testing check that both the code and the tests themselves hold up.
